Africa Day is commemorated annually on the 25th May. It is an opportunity to celebrate African diversity and success, and to highlight the cultural and economic potential that exists on the African continent. This year, the Africa Day is celebrated under the theme; ‘Strengthening Resilience in Nutrition and Food Security on The African Continent: Strengthening Agro-Food Systems, Health and Social Protection Systems for the Acceleration of Human, Social and Economic Capital Development’

Zimbabwe National Family Planning Council (ZNFPC) congratulates the African Union for the continued efforts by governments to provide quality health services to improve human capital development. Family Planning health service provision remains essential as the African Union aims to achieve its set objectives.
