Dr. Sylvester Nyatsuro (Board Chairperson)

Dr. Sylvester Nyatsuro is an accomplished and focused medical professional, with vast experience and interest in the fields of healthcare financing, health promotion, epidemiology, and healthcare leadership. He holds a Masters of Public Health Management and Leadership from Sheffield University, Post Graduate Certificate Medical Education from De Montfort University, a Diploma in Fertility and Family Planning, and a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Zimbabwe. Dr. Nyatsuro is currently a member of the Zimbabwe Diaspora Network.

Dr. Stanzia Moyo

Dr. Stanzia Moyo is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Population Studies, University of Zimbabwe. She holds a D. Phil and Master of Science in Population Studies all from the University of Zimbabwe and a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Environmental Studies from Zimbabwe Open University. She also holds a Certificate in Demographic Methods and Analysis from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, and an Executive Certificate in Community Development and Humanitarian Project Management from the University of Zimbabwe. She is experienced in teaching and mentoring at various levels ranging from secondary level to postgraduate university students and research activities.

Dr.Valerie Tagwira

Dr. Valerie Tagwira is a medical doctor and specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is a holder of an MRCOG, Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist (RCOG), England, an MBChB, Medicine and Surgery from the University of Zimbabwe, and a Diploma (Sexual and Reproductive Health Care) from RCOG, England. She has worked as a lecturer, training doctors in theory and practice of Obstetrics and Gynaecology for the University of Zimbabwe and she is an established trainer with the Zimbabwe National Family Planning Council (ZNFPC) and the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health care (FSRH), UK. Dr. Tagwira is also a published author whose work has been incorporated by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education into Advanced Level Literature in the English curriculum.

Mrs Junior Muchuchu

Junior Muchuchu is a seasoned secondary school teacher of 21 years’ experience. She is a holder of a Master of Development Studies from Women’s University in Africa, a Bachelor of Educational Administration, Planning and Policy Studies from the University of Zimbabwe, a Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Christian College of Southern Africa, Diploma in HIV/AIDS Counselling Care and Prevention from International Institute of Capacity Development Trust and a Certificate in Education from Mutare Teachers College. Mrs. Muchuchu is currently working with the Ministry of Women Affairs, Community, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development as a Principal Administrative Officer.

Ms. Sharon Bwanya

Sharon Bwanya (nee Maposa) is a lawyer with more than 11 years of experience in commercial law. She holds an LLBS (Honours) from the University of Zimbabwe and is currently studying towards a Global MBA with Steinbeis University, Germany. She is a registered member and committee member of the ad hoc committee on Ethics and Code of Conduct – Law Society of Zimbabwe. Sharon is also a board member and chairperson of the Professional Interest Committee- Zimbabwe Women Lawyers Association, member and scholar of the ICT Committee – International Bar Association, and board member of the Rotary Club of Highlands.

Mr. Tanyaradzwa A Nyakatawa

Tanyaradzwa Nyakatawa is a holder of a Master of Science in Development Studies and a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Psychology both from Women’s University in Africa. He also holds an Executive Certificate in Adult and Paediatrics HIV/AIDS Counselling Care and Support, and Monitoring and Evaluation all from UZ. He is in the advisory council of the Young People’s Network on Sexual and Reproductive Health, HIV and AIDS. Tanyaradzwa has more than five years of experience in programming on Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and Young People and is a member of the Allied Health Association.

Mr. David Mutizwa

Mr. David Mutizwa is a human resources practitioner currently working as the Human Resources and Administration Manager at ZIMCHEM Refiners (Pvt) Ltd. He is a holder of a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations, a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Personnel Management Zimbabwe, and Diplomas in Business Administration, and Personnel Management.

Mr. Dzikamai Rufu

Mr. Dzikamai Rufu is a qualified Accountant with more than 12 years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial planning and reporting, payroll and income tax, preparation fixed asset management, and internal auditing. Dzikamai holds a Master in Professional Accounting and Corporate Governance from Great Zimbabwe University, a Bachelor of Accounting Honours from Africa University. He holds Diplomas in the Institute of Business and Accounting and Marketing. Dzikamai is currently working as an Internal Audit Manager at Chitungwiza Central Hospital

Dr. Munyaradzi Murwira (Executive Director)

Dr. Munyaradzi Murwira is a holder of a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery Degrees (MBChB), a Master Degree in Public Health (MPH), and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He has worked in the Public Sector in various capacities including at ZNFPC as the Director Technical Services. Dr. Murwira re-joined ZNFPC in 2011 as the Executive Director bringing lots of knowledge and expertise in Family Planning and Reproductive Health.
