Menstrual Hygiene Day
Menstrual Hygiene Day is celebrated annually on the 28th May worldwide, to raise awareness, open discussions and highlight the importance of good menstrual health and hygiene management. This year the day is being celebrated under the theme, ‘Making menstruation a normal fact of life by 2030’. The ZNFPC youth-friendly Adolescent and Youth Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH) department is working with young people in communities to end period poverty.
Let us all join hands to ensure that the girl child enjoys her menstrual cycle with comfort and hygiene.
