The Zimbabwe National Family Planning Council (ZNFPC) has been awarded the Best Exhibitor in the Health Care Sector 2026 at the Mashonaland West Agricultural Show. The Council scooped the top award for its engaging exhibition that attracted farmers, families, and young people throughout the show. ZNFPC’s stand provided free health services and information including Sexual and Reproductive Health education, Family Planning, HIV Testing Services and condom distribution as well as Youth Friendly Sexual and Reproductive Health Services.

ZNFPC Mash West Provincial Manager, Mr Herbert Chikosi said the award reflects the Council’s commitment to taking health services closer to communities. “The Agricultural Show is a key platform for us to meet people where they are. Farmers and families came to exhibit their produce, and we exhibited health. Being named Best in the Health Care Sector shows that people value accessible health information and services,” the Manager said. Visitors to the ZNFPC stand praised the interactive approach, health education materials, and free screenings offered on site. The Council also used the platform to promote its toll-free line 08080560 and the organization’s website for continued support. Show organizers commended ZNFPC for professionalism, impactful messaging, and contribution to public health awareness during the event. The recognition reinforces ZNFPC’s role in advancing health and family planning across Mashonaland West Province.
