The Board, Management and Staff of the Zimbabwe National Family Planning Council (ZNFPC) join His Excellency the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Cde E.D. Mnangagwa and the entire nation in celebrating Day of the African Child. Congratulations to the Government of Zimbabwe for establishing the Junior Parliament in response to the commemoration of the Day of the African Child. This year’s theme is, ‘Planning and budgeting for children’s rights: progress since 2010.’ The theme aims at assessing the level of progress achieved in mainstreaming children’s issues in national planning and budgeting by Member States of the African Union.
ZNFPC established and supports 24 Youth Centres across all provinces in Zimbabwe through the Adolescent and Youth Sexual Reproductive Health programme spearheaded by Peer Educators. The programme aims to support young people to make informed choices regarding their health and well-being.
